Propane - Air

Propane-Air

Soldering torches – air inlet by torch insert

The propane flame with sucked air (2000°C) serves as a heat source for a lot of processes, like soldering, brazing, annealing, hardening, smelting etc., but also in direct use for flame cleaning of e.g. old paint. In DIN 8543 T4 these devices are standardised.

The programme contains different hand grips, welding torches, welding heads with extension tubes and different compositions - sets – as well as soldering irons.
Sets are assortments of various hand grips and inserts for different applications like soldering, brazing etc.

Hand grips for propane torches with air inlet by torch insert are available in different variations:

  • Once a hand grip with economizing valve, with pilot light regulation and main shut-off valve, especially for welding torches with flame lengths over 150mm and construction site application (changing working places). The shut-off valve serves to shut-off or regulate the gas supply for pilot light and working flame. The pilot light can be adjusted with a pan head slotted screw. The gas supply is set free by the lever for the working flame, which can be regulated by the shut-off valve.
  • A hand grip only with shut-off resp. regulating valve, for use only with flame lengths lower than 150mm, e.g. soldering irons, and for use at fix working
places (workshop). The shut-off valve also serves as a regulating valve for the working flame.

Soldering torches with hammerhead copper bit or point copper bit, protective hood with wire stand and straight concentrated pointed flame torch heads with piston bracket. These torches are preferably used with the hand grip 175.100.

Torch heads with flame lengths lower than 150mm are available in different variations. As soldering torches with copper pieces, concentrated pointed flame torch head, paint stripping head, turbo torch head with broad flame. Operating pressures generally 1,5 to 4 bar, turbo torch heads 1,5 to 2,5 bar, thus a pressure regulator should necessarily be assembled. Consumptions see table. The torch heads can be operated with hand grip 175.100.

Soldering irons, hand grip classically shaped, with shut-off resp. regulating valve and air-pusher for regulation of intake air. Torch head with protective hood, piston bracket and hammerhead copper bit or pointed copper bit for soldering.
